From managing customer service teams and running call centers across the world to leading large engineering teams – Michael has earned a name for himself in the telecommunications industry. He is currently Senior Operations Manager at Virgin Media O2.
Fun Fact The year is 2000, Michael is at summer camp in America and falls in love… with the country. This love affair has endured till today as he vacations there every year.
Full Bio Michael began his career with British multinational telecommunications giant BT Group over 21 years ago. During that time he has had a variety of senior leadership roles covering on & offshore desk management as well as field engineering management. Michael has also worked in Malaysia, supporting Telekom Malaysia with the leadership and performance management of their contact centers across the country’s capital Kuala Lumpur. Michael has gained valuable insight into how different cultures approach customer service as a whole, and as a result has become a leader who prioritizes diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being above all else.
