Joey Tan

With over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, Joey has worked in key markets across the globe. His areas of expertise include Enterprise C-Level engagement and Cloud Solution Technology with Business Management. As Head of Global Strategic Initiatives at Alibaba Cloud International, Joey is responsible for various portfolios. These include leading special projects such as Alibaba Cloud Olympics team, working closely with the Olympics movement on innovations and digital transformation.

Prior to this, Joey led the expansion of Alibaba’s global cloud data centre coverage. He manages global strategic alliances and joint ventures to form new partnerships with business leaders, incubators and educators to accelerate the development of cloud and data-driven ecosystems for their local economy.

Joey is on the Board of Directors for Alibaba joint venture companies.
