Payal is an expert in the Technology and Services industry and was recognised as one of the Top 20 Women Leaders in IT industry by Data Quest. As one of the high-ranking corporate officials in India, she has over 25 years of experience driving overall business growth of multinational companies – defining long-term growth strategy, market share, revenue growth, thereby increasing overall stakeholder value and managing businesses across the globe, specifically US, Europe, and South Asia.
Her most recent role was as the former VP of Strategic Sales, South Asia at IBM. Other previous roles include Chief Strategy Officer at Aricent, a global design and product engineering company, then led by the KKR Group (now part of Capgemini), and Chief Commercial Officer at one of the world's largest facility management companies headquartered in Denmark, ISS Services.
Outside of the corporate world, Payal was also the VP of Invest India, the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Government of India’s Ministry of Commerce & Industry. She spearheaded setting up the operational arm of the Make in India initiative and built a pipeline of $100 billion in Foreign Direct Investment working with DPIIT, the Prime Minister’s Office, all Federal Ministries and State governments of India. She also represented the country at various Investment forums and events like Davos.
As part of her professional journey, Payal has been a mentor to many upcoming leaders and is currently also pursuing her ICF-ACC accreditation and actively working as a professional coach and mentor.
