Dr. Paul Hain is the Chief Clinical Officer at Alo Solutions, a physician enablement platform committed to helping independent physicians and their patients thrive.
He was previously the Chief Medical Officer of GoHealth (Gohealth.com) where he led the development of the Encompass Platform, a digital health solution. His work focused on critical healthcare touchpoints including care management and navigation, provider and value-based care engagement, pharmacy engagement, health risk assessments, social determinants of health management, and other digital health offerings.
Prior to joining GoHealth, Dr. Hain was the Chief Medical Officer for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX). Prior to BCBSTX, Dr. Hain was Vice President and Medical Director of Population Health and Network Development at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. Before moving to Dallas, Dr. Hain was the Associate Chief of Staff and Medical Director for Quality at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, where he launched the Pediatric Hospitalist Program.
Academically, Dr. Hain has published in multiple journals and lectured nationally on varied topics of quality improvement, risk management, readmissions, patient throughput, the use of the APR-DRG system, and dashboard use in hospital medicine. Dr. Hain received his MD from the Vanderbilt School of Medicine, and he completed his pediatrics residency at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. Prior to that, Dr. Hain received his BS in engineering from Rice University and subsequently worked as a corrosion engineer in Alaska.
