Michelle Guthrie

Over the last 25 years Michelle has held senior management roles at leading media and technology companies in Australia, the UK and Asia, including BSkyB, Star TV and Google. Her areas of expertise include media management, and content development, with deep knowledge of traditional broadcasting, the digital media landscape and how to transform to embrace the digital consumer.

In her last role, Michelle was the Managing Director of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. She led the transformation of the organisation, increasing efficiency across the ABC as well as investing more in investigative journalism, regional journalism, and innovative Australian content. She was also with Google APAC, as a Managing Director for Agencies, where she built business partnerships with key global advertising agencies. Some of her previous roles also include CEO of STAR TV, and Equity Advisor and Investor at Providence Equity.

Michelle serves on the board of Starhub, a leading telco in Singapore, and Catapult Group, a global sports technology company.
