Justin Welling

Justin Welling is an accomplished sales leader with extensive experience in the financial services and technology sectors. He currently serves as the Head of Global Sales at Visible Alpha, a subsidiary of S&P Global, where he leads the company’s sales organization across all customer segments—including Corporates, Private Equity, Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Hedge Funds, and Asset Management—across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

Before his current role, Justin was responsible for driving significant growth at Visible Alpha as co-head of Americas Sales, helping to acquire clients and significantly scale the business. This success contributed to the company's $500 million acquisition by S&P Global in 2024. Prior to Visible Alpha, as Area Vice President at Canalyst, Justin managed a high-performing sales team, consistently exceeding targets and playing a key role in the company’s rapid growth from $1 million to $15 million in ARR, culminating in its acquisition by Tegus for over $300 million in 2022.

Justin’s expertise spans across macroeconomic research sales at Medley Global Advisors and healthcare advisory at Marwood Group, where he helped scale operations and launch new initiatives in highly competitive markets. Earlier in his career, he gained experience in venture capital and biotechnology financing, providing him with a well-rounded foundation in business development.

Justin began his career in sales at Yahoo, where he was recognized as a top producer. With a reputation for building strategic relationships and driving revenue growth, Justin has become a respected leader in his field. He holds an M.B.A. from the USC Marshall School of Business (2007) and a B.A. in History from Brandeis University.
