Johnny Gillett

Johnny Gillett, also known as The Journey Man, has been working with stories for over 30 years. This was initially in the theatre as an actor and director in the UK, but when he chose to focus on the traditional art of oral storytelling the doors quickly opened up for him to coach individuals and teams within a whole range of sectors. Not only was he engaged to teach communication and presentation skills, but he was soon coaching leaders and managers in how to tell and use stories effectively. As part of this work, Johnny developed his 'Story Practice' – a method for using stories to create 'safer spaces' in which to negotiate change or deal with conflict. Johnny’s most notable clients include IKEA, IKANO, L’Oreal and OCBC Bank, as well as universities and business training centres all across the world.
