Iain Twine

Iain is the founder and Managing Partner of Harrup Advisory, a global consulting business focusing on public relations, communications and corporate affairs strategy.

Prior to starting Harrup Advisory, Iain led Edelman’s Reputation business across Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa, overseeing 700 professionals across the area of reputation, public affairs and issues management. Iain previously oversaw six Edelman offices and over 400 staff in Southeast Asia and Australasia.

Before relocating to Singapore, Iain was the general manager of Edelman’s operations across the Middle East and Africa. He was the first employee of Edelman's Middle East operations, and grew the business into what the Middle East PR Association and The Holmes Report named Middle East Agency of the Year. Iain has extensive experience in the field of government relations, reputation management, market entry, media relations, training and policy development. His client work covers sovereign wealth funds, government strategy, MNCs, sport, technology, property and financial services.

Iain’s early career was as a taxation and economic development policy specialist, and he was also the Deputy CEO of Tambo Shire Council in Australia. He sits on the Kaplan School of Management Communications Advisory Panel, and The Institute of Advertising Singapore Board.
