Tarun Malkani

Tarun has over 35 years of experience in spearheading and leading businesses. For the last 15 years he has been in strategic leadership roles leading billion dollar businesses, and is the former COO, India of Rio Tinto Diamonds. Tarun has also held several senior management positions in global companies such as Alcan, Eastman Chemicals, Monsanto, Bayer, Nocil, Berger Paints and Exim Bank. Tarun has lived and worked in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Singapore and spearheaded teams in Japan, China, Korea, Europe and the Americas and has a good understanding of business and innovation practices in all these markets. Currently Tarun runs his own business and is connected with a number of innovative startups as a co-founder, mentor, advisor or as angel investor. He also consults and collaborates with global organisations in training their C-suite executives in the cross-cultural aspects of doing business.

Tarun loves to train, teach, mentor and coach young talent and is a visiting faculty at several leading colleges and institutes. Tarun is an IIM - Calcutta Alumnus and a Chemical Engineer from UDCT.
