With an expansive background in marketing, Rod was VP at Starhub, leading the Brand and Marketing Communications division until recently, and before that leading digital experience and digital transformation. In his over 3 years at Starhub, Rod led notable campaigns including his most recent campaign inspired by Game of Thrones. He worked with agency BLKJ to promote Starhub’s new TV package in line with its #HelloChange brand position. Prior to StarHub, Rod was Director, Digital and Social Centre of Excellence at Lenovo, during which time he led the social media marketing team. He was General Manager of Catalyst UK and was responsible for establishing an Asian base in Singapore. He also oversaw the sales teams in Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore. Before that, Rod led BBDO Proximity for two years. Some of his prior stints were with Grey Group in Kuala Lumpur and Robbins Brandt Richter in New Zealand, among others.
