Robert Westwood

Since joining the banking sector in 2008, Rob has acquired extensive knowledge and experience in the banking and financial services industry, as well as deep expertise on the effects of digital in organizations and specifically their ways of working. He has focused on projects in strategy, digital technology, agile transformations across business and technology, and organization design.

In the last 7 years, Rob has been instrumental in guiding multi-year transformations for several banks to become Agile organizations. The scope of the changes involves transitioning business and technology employees into an Agile based future workplace, designing organization structures, shifting mindsets and coaching leaders. He is currently, Head of Technology Strategy & Transformation at Barclays.

With his international experience, having worked in over 18 countries, Robert brings a global perspective to his work. He is comfortable in both strategic and operational roles, allowing him to tackle challenges at all levels of an organization.
