Having spent nearly 10 years in the advertising industry for global clients in London, Michael used to work in communications and campaigning at WWF, the World Wide Fund for Nature. At WWF Singapore, Michael was responsible for bringing communications, campaigning and advocacy work together to deliver conservation outcomes for significant environmental threats facing us in the region. Michael helped to tackle three key environmental challenges facing the Asia-Pacific region: illegal wildlife trade, deforestation in Sumatra and the global challenge of plastic pollution.
In his advertising career Michael spent several years at adam&eveDDB in London working across multiple global accounts including Unilever's Wall's ice cream and Aviva insurance. Prior to that, he spent over 5 years at Ogilvy London, where he started on their grad scheme.
