Matthew has over 20 years of experience driving innovation and creativity in the Asia-Pacific region. He currently leads Media.Monk’s APAC content business, driving creative innovation and leveraging cutting-edge technology to deliver scale, impact and efficiency for APAC’s leading and fast-moving brands.
He was previously the CEO of Nutrition Innovation and developed the business globally, reporting to the Board, Shareholders and Founders. Nutrition Innovation technology empowers global mills and refineries to produce Nucane, a family of innovative healthier sugar reduction and replacement solutions.
Prior to this role, Matthew was the President of Young & Rubicam Asia for over seven years, where he oversaw the operations of Y&R Advertising, VML and LabStore operations in the region across 38 Offices in 13 countries. A powerful change agent, his expertise has helped companies build brands in the world’s largest markets while developing successful global campaigns. Matthew has extensive experience in M&A activity, particularly in India, China and Korea and has successfully established over 20 offices across the region.
In 2015, Matthew won the Mumbrella Asia-Pacific CEO Of The Year Award. He was also a finalist for Campaign’s APAC CEO of the Year Awards in 2009, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. In addition, Matthew was named Marketing’s Agency Professional of the Year and voted by the Industry as one of Campaign's Most Admired Leaders in Asia-Pacific.
