Mario has worked with some of the world’s best consulting firms on the design and implementation of effective Global Mobility solutions. He is currently the Chief Sales & Marketing office for ITX Expatriate Management, a world leader in International Mobility consulting, Global Mobility Shared Services and global employment companies

Mario’s experience in Global Mobility began over three decades ago, when he was responsible for the deployment of British academic staff to various African locations on behalf of The British Council. For Logica International, a major British IT and Management Consulting company, Mario had global responsibility for all Global Mobility issues and full Personnel Management responsibilities for the Middle East Operations.

Subsequently, Mario was responsible for the set-up and launch of PWC’s Global Mobility consulting practices first in EMEA and later in Asia Pacific. In a subsequent role he was the Group General Manager of International HR in the global headquarters of International SOS, where he managed the deployment of medical and security personnel for more than 200 projects in over 80 countries. Mario returned to consulting when he was given the leadership of the Human Capital Consulting practice in South East Asia at Deloitte Consulting. Prior to joining ITX, Mario was the Regional Leader for Mercer’s Global Mobility practices across Asia, Middle East, Africa and Turkey.

Mario regularly contributes to conferences, articles and media interviews around the world. He has also actively contributed to the activities of Worldwide ERC, where he served on the Board of Directors and a Chairman of their Asia Pacific Committee. He has received a number of recognitions and awards, including the first “Asia Pacific Global Mobility Professional of the Year” award by the Forum for Expatriate Management in 2013.
