Koen is the Global Vice President of Innovation and General Manager of Business Development at Pepsico. In this capacity, he assumes leadership in developing and executing the growth agenda for the Foods portfolio, encompassing renowned brands such as Lays, Cheetos, Doritos, and various new brands. His primary focus lies in unlocking innovative growth platforms, including activation, new product development, channels, and business models.
With his keen oversight, Koen manages a highly skilled team across diverse functions, including marketing, insights, research and development, design, strategy, e-Commerce, commercialization, venturing, and mergers & acquisitions. He is committed to building a cohesive global innovation community that aligns all markets behind shared priorities, methodologies, tools, and key performance indicators.
Prior to his current role, Koen served as the Global Chief Marketing Officer for Quaker, where he successfully led the brand on a global scale. He spearheaded brand strategy development and execution, overseeing activation and innovation initiatives in key markets, along with assuming brand profit and loss responsibility.
