James Roth

James was appointed as Chief Revenue Officer in 2023 at ZoomInfo, having joined the company in 2022 as Senior VP of Enterprise Sales and Account Management. In his current role, James supervises ZoomInfo’s entire revenue organization, including global sales, account management, customer experience, partnerships, and solutions engineering teams. As CRO, he is tasked with executing a comprehensive revenue growth strategy, prioritizing exceptional customer experience, and ensuring sales and marketing alignment.

Before joining ZoomInfo, James served as head of Field and Enterprise Sales at Vonage, where he spent eight years following the acquisition of Icore networks. At Vonage, he successfully led the transition from a consumer VoIP provider to an enterprise communications platform, which contributed to the company's $6.2 billion acquisition by Ericsson in 2021. James began his career as an outside sales representative for Cbeyond and quickly rose to lead enterprise sales within five years.

James graduated from Amherst College with a degree in political science and economics. He resides in the Washington, D.C. area with his wife and three children, enjoying sports and pursuing his passion for music in his free time.
