Hugh Spencer

With over 15 years of experience in finance, Hugh is currently the Head of Equity Trading, APAC, at Janus Henderson Investors, a position he has held for over five years. Hugh joined Janus as an international equity trader working in non-US securities.

Prior to Janus, he worked in prime brokerage sales and execution for derivatives and equities for NewEdge Group in Hong Kong. Earlier in his career, he was a sales trader of Japanese equities at UBS and brokered interest rate swaps at Nittan Capital.
