Hermann has dedicated nearly twenty years to the media and sports marketing industry. He began his career working with various global accounts on the agency side before joining PUMA's International Marketing Department in Boston in 2011. At PUMA, he served as Global Head of Media, where he crafted and executed the company’s global media strategy, oversaw planning and buying guidelines, and spearheaded the launch of PUMA’s largest brand campaign, FOREVER FASTER, in 2014, as part of the brand’s repositioning efforts.
In addition to his media responsibilities, Hermann took on Marketing Controlling, where he revamped the global marketing budget structure and successfully managed an increase from EUR 300 million in 2013 to EUR 900 million in 2024. Transitioning to the role of Senior Head of Marketing Operations, Hermann established and managed a team of over 15 professionals covering Marketing Analytics, Consumer Insights, Product Operations, and Web3 initiatives.
