Hermann Hassenstein is the VP of Marketing Operations at SharkNinja, a global product design and tech company that creates 5-star rated lifestyle solutions.
He has spent nearly two decades in the media and sports marketing industry, serving several global accounts on the agency side before joining PUMA's International Marketing Department in Boston in 2011. There, as Global Head of Media, he developed and managed the company’s global media strategy, planning and buying guidelines, and managed the PUMA’s largest brand campaign FOREVER FASTER to kick off the brand’s repositioning in 2014. He then added Marketing Controlling to his responsibilities, restructured the global marketing budget and managed an increase from EUR 300mio in 2013 to EUR 900mio in 2024.
He was with PUMA for over 12 years. In his final role as the Sr. Head of Marketing Operations, Hermann established roles and responsibilities for a team of 15+, covering Marketing Analytics, Consumer Insights, Product Operations and Web3.
