Dr. Jordan C. Thurston

Dr. Jordan C. Thurston, TEDx Speaker, self-starter, and thought leader, shies away from the phrase “this is the way it’s always been done” and drives efficiencies in his job and everyday life through process improvement. Working full-time since the 10th grade, Jordan has worked across multiple industries, including retail and financial, honing his craft of improving processes and organizations globally.

Upon receiving his bachelor’s in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management and bridging the gap between theory and practice, Jordan quickly climbed the corporate ladder in Compliance, Risk, and Governance, going from Assistant Vice President to Senior Vice President in four years within the financial industry. He is currently SVP, Senior Audit Manager at a large financial institution.

Dr. Thurston is also the President & CEO of two companies, the Neopte Foundation and Evolve Like a Dragonfly LLC.

The Neopte Foundation is a non-profit organization that gives purpose and direction to youth from low-opportunity backgrounds to pursue higher education.

Evolve Like a Dragonfly is a company focused on developing the world around us through process improvement to drive efficiencies in all we do. Evolve is also the publisher for Dr. Thurston's book, Walk Among the Dragonflies: How Leaders Streamline Efficiencies Through Process Improvement.
