Donna’s role as a Grand Slam Supervisor with the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) has taken her all over the world. She has worked at 108 Grand Slams, 4 Olympics Games and countless other tennis events in a leadership position with elite female tennis players. Starting as a line umpire at age 16, Donna progressed through the officiating pathway to attain the highest level of International Certification – Gold Badge Chair Umpire, Chief Umpire and Referee simultaneously. At the peak of her on court officiating she was one of only two female Gold Badge Chair Umpires in the world. Her focus and passion in recent years has included mentoring and sharing her expertise with officials and WTA staff who look to follow in her footsteps. She has had the privilege of working at the WTA Finals in Singapore from 2014-2018. In addition to this, she serves as Tournament Director of WTA Future Stars, a global platform comprising on and off court educational experiences to empower the next generation of female athletes as leaders, and has also been instrumental in the launch of WTA University, WTA’s online educational platform.
