Vishal Kapoor

Vishal boasts over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. At DBS Bank, he currently holds the position of FIG and ESG Research Lead, where he leads a team focused on providing sectoral insights, business solutions, and strategic direction. Vishal's expertise spans banking, consulting, auditing, and entrepreneurship, allowing him to deliver impactful research and advisory services across various domains.

Having worked closely with senior management in different banks, Vishal has also served as a consultant and Head of Audit for Risk and Finance. His educational background includes an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Chartered Accountant certification. Additionally, he holds credentials in private equity, algorithmic trading, blockchain technology, Linux, and Scrum methodologies.

Currently expanding his knowledge, Vishal is pursuing a postgraduate program in artificial intelligence from Caltech, alongside short courses in economics of mutuality and mind mapping from Oxford. He is deeply passionate about sustainable development, impact investing, and the ethical dimensions of artificial intelligence, reflected in his ongoing authorship of two books on these topics.
