Vipin Kalra

Vipin has over 25 years of experience in general management, sales and marketing in global payments, the digital and online retail sector, and emerging technologies. He is currently Regional VP and Managing Director for Asia-Pacific Retail at Diebold Nixdorf.

Vipin was previously the CEO of BankBazaar, a leading online financial services platform offering paperless access to quotes on financial services products including loans, credit cards, insurance, and investment. BankBazaar has partnered with over 85 financial institutions such as Citibank, HSBC and Standard Chartered. Before BankBazaar, Vipin was in Visa for 21 years where he held senior roles across Australia and Asia Pacific. He was the SVP of Asia Pacific where he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s acceptance and merchant relations across the Asia Pacific. Prior to this, he was Visa’s Country Manager for Australia, where he was instrumental in not only doubling Visa’s revenue over a three-year period, but also in making Visa in Australia a leading global market for payment innovation.
