Vikas Garg

After 15 years in finance and leadership roles, Vikas started abillion. abillion is a consumer internet and social media company, serving the global conscious movement towards plant-based alternatives. The name sums up Vikas Garg’s aim which is to achieve one billion vegetarians and vegans across the globe.

Vikas was the MD of Dymon Asia, an Asia focused multi-strategy hedge fund. He was on the management team and Risk Committee for the Dymon Asia Multi-Strategy Fund and was responsible for launching the Dymon Asia Global Currency Alpha Fund.

Prior to that, he was the Deputy Head of CalPERS, where he ran the hedge fund program and was responsible for proprietary stakes and revenue share deals with fund managers. He also served on CalPERS ESG Committee. Vikas started his finance career as an analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston and 1/0 Capital.

Vikas Garg is a recipient of Credit Suisse’s Global Citizenship Award and a member of the Milken Institute’s Young Leaders Circle. He is involved with minority education initiatives and animal welfare programs around the world.
