Tanmay Bhargava

Tanmay is passionate about food systems, their environmental footprint and technological interventions. With experience in fund investing, fundraising and fund formation activities, he is the Principal at TELUS Global Ventures, leading investments in agriculture, consumer goods and supply chain technologies.

He was previously the Director of Investments for New York-based Community Development Venture Capital Alliance and led a fund initiative for agritech opportunities in India. Prior to these engagements, he worked with CRISIL Ltd. on quantitative and thematic equity trading strategies.

Beyond driving investments, he was Head of Operations for APAC at Intello Labs, an award-winning agritech startup that provides image-based and AI-enabled commodity grading applications to agriculture and food companies. As an early employee and part of the core leadership team, he launched the Singapore-based regional office and led sales, strategy and business development activities.
