Suresh Sundararajan

Suresh holds a pivotal role within Olam Ventures, serving as its CEO and driving the incubation of new ventures for Olam. Simultaneously, he actively leads Olam Technology and Business Service, an autonomous entity specializing in IT and Digital Services, providing comprehensive support for enterprise transformation.

Suresh's journey with Olam commenced in 1996 when he assumed the role of Finance Manager in Cameroon. In 1998, he transitioned to Singapore, where he assumed the leadership of the Corporate Affairs function. His responsibilities encompassed overseeing critical aspects like Financial Accounting, Tax, Secretarial duties, Audit, and equity capital-raising activities.

Over the years, Suresh's influence and responsibilities expanded significantly. By 2016, he was entrusted with a broader leadership role, taking charge of corporate functions such as Digital, Tax, Legal, IT, Global Business Services, and Strategic Investments. In 2020, his portfolio further expanded to include Risk Management, Market Compliance, Insurance, and a pivotal business oversight role for the Farmer Services Platform and EcoCal.

Suresh's rich and diverse educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Madras, India, a degree in Cost Accountancy from The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India in 1990, and qualification as a Company Secretary through The Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
