Sandeep Sen

Sandeep is the former Group CIO of Linde plc, the market leader for Industrial Gases, with customers across a range of industries from Pharma, Steel, Food and even Beverages (70% of the CO2 in Oktoberfest is from Linde).

As Group CIO, he led Linde’s global 1,350-strong IT team with an annual budget of $400 million. Their achievements included developing and implementing IT strategy that yielded cost synergies and driving digital transformation, positioning the company for advancements in GenAI.

A Chartered Accountant from India, Sandeep joined Linde India in 1993, initially in Finance and Accounting. He later switched careers to IT where he oversaw IT in Asia Pac based out of Singapore before moving to the CIO role in Munich.

Beyond IT, he is passionate about black and white photography and is a “social” golfer.
