Rafael has over 15 years of experience in the creative digital advertising space with reputed agencies such as OgilvyOne and TBWA. He formerly led the Creative Shop at Facebook, where he managed a large team based across multiple offices in Southeast Asia. Rafael worked with many renowned clients in the space, helping them leverage and optimise the power of social media through creativity.
His journey with digital advertising began over 12 years ago in Brazil. When the digital industry there began to heat up, Rafael moved to the Middle East and started all over again in Dubai. Refusing to use low budgets as an excuse, Rafael and his team used creative solutions to transform adversity into an opportunity. In 2010, Rafael’s team won in Cyber at Cannes Lions and One Show. In 2012, they were the most awarded agency from Dubai in Cannes, with 4 Lions, including a Gold in Mobile.
