Puneet Garg

Puneet has rich experience solving problems in the areas of NLP, search and information retrieval, as well as building software and AI products. He was previously the VP of Data Science / ML & Data Engineering at Carousell, and was responsible for leveraging the power of AI, ML and Big Data towards accelerating user success and business growth.

Prior to this Puneet spent 13 years at Microsoft leading a wide-range of AI projects including query understanding, conversational understanding, speech recognition, language translation and many more areas as part of Microsoft Bing and Cortana AI product groups. He held a variety of roles from Software Engineering Manager, Lead Data Scientist to Principal Program Manager.
