Noha has 25 years of experience in marketing, brand management, strategic planning, and change management. In her role as Director of Brand & Product Marketing for Facebook Commerce & Facebook Connections, she's responsible for all aspects of global marketing across critical products such as Facebook Shops, Marketplace, Live Shopping, Facebook Trust, Privacy, Integrity, News, Feed, Audio, Rooms, Reels, & Information Hubs (Covid, Climate, Olympics).
Before this role, Noha ran the launch of Facebook Pay across the company, and managed the Payments PMM team. Prior to Facebook, she served several senior marketing roles at Paypal including leading the global PMM team for Commerce Platform, Developers & Marketplaces.
Earlier in her career, she worked for Starwood Hotels & Resorts in a variety of leadership roles, running a regional team that spanned over 150 hotels in 48 countries. She started her career in banking with Amex Bank, then Citi. She has also served in the State Department as the Strategic Advisor during the Arab Spring.
Noha graduated cum laude from the American University in Cairo and earned her Masters in International Relations at the University of St. Andrews with Distinction. She also started her PhD in the University of Cambridge studying decision making by government.
Noha has a passion for supporting grassroots social enterprises that can help solve local problems with local solutions. She was as a member of Nahdet El Mahrousa in Egypt - one of the largest social enterprise incubators, and advised on the work of USAID in the region. Prior to that she led Citi foundations’ work on micro-lending capacity building in partnership with CARE.
