Nitty (Nithyanand) Rao

Nitty is no stranger to digital transformation, and his 33 years of experience in the tech industry inform his expertise in the area. Currently, Nitty is the Global Competency Head for Digital Transformation in Tech Mahindra, where he helps Tech Mahindra’s global customers to develop compelling customer experiences built on a foundation of technical solutions. As a competency head, Nitty interacts with a variety of leaders, stakeholders and teams across the world, accelerating digital transformation journeys by applying the learnings and experiences from one project, customer and geography to another.

Nitty graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. Before joining Tech Mahindra, Nitty worked with renowned companies such as Tata Consultancy Services and AT&T. He’s worked in England, Scotland and spent almost two decades in the US.

Nitty is an avid traveler and a connoisseur of world cuisines. He is also a music aficionado and plays the keyboard, tabla and enjoys singing.
