Mike Constable

With over 26 years in the submarine cable industry, Mike has led the development and implementation of numerous cable systems throughout the globe with leading telecom operators such as Global Crossing Ltd, Pacnet Global Ltd and Pacific Fibre. He was previously the CEO at Huawei Marine of Global Marine Systems Limited, the leading suppliers of global network solutions. Mike is also a speaker and authority on strategic, commercial, and regulatory aspects of submarine cable system development and deployment.

In previous years, Mike served as Director of Business Development at Pacific Fibre, developing the trans-Pacific system and Pacnet (Global) Ltd, Singapore. Amongst other initiatives, he expanded their submarine cable infrastructure leading the development of the trans-Pacific "Unity" cable. Mike also held a key role in developing New York-based, Global Crossing's multi-billion dollar global infrastructure programme. While with Alcatel Submarine Networks, Mike managed the building of numerous submarine cable systems throughout the world.
