Melissa Hopper

Melissa Hopper is the Vice President of Merchandising for Household Products at Family Dollar. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she graduated from Duquesne University in 2009 with a degree in Marketing and Leadership & Change Management. With over 20 years of experience in the retail industry, Melissa began her career in the restaurant sector, progressing through operations and eventually into corporate merchandising. She attributes her career growth to a strong foundation, work ethic, and genuine passion for the industry. Melissa is deeply motivated by her work, her family—including her supportive husband and two wonderful sons—and the "organized chaos" of each day. She finds tremendous fulfillment in watching others realize their full potential, making her an inspiring leader and mentor.
