Manish Chawda

Manish has over 24 years of experience developing innovative technical solutions for multi-national companies. Formerly heading up the technology risk departments at Pricewaterhouse Coopers and Grant Thornton, Manish is now a partner at Pragma, a cybersecurity consultancy that helps clients enact strategic and tactical solutions to cyber risk issues.

Over the last 5 years Manish has helped over 80 banks achieve compliance with regulatory requirements and assisted government agencies and international law enforcement agencies on technology process improvements. He has also investigated two of the biggest banking hacking incidents in Singapore in the last four years, and worked closely with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) to identify the root cause and process weaknesses.

He has also trained with US ex-blackhat hackers to get a greater understanding of the hacker’s mindset.

He has the following certifications - Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Check Point Security Expert (CCSE), Actividentity CMS, IBM Tivoli, LogLogic, and RSA SecurID.
