Linda has been at the forefront of international development and sustainability, combining big picture thinking with getting things done for almost 20 years. She is currently Cargill’s VP of Sustainability for Animal Nutrition and Health where she leads global teams to create more sustainable products.
She was previously the Head of Sustainable Impact for COFRA Holding, a privately held multinational with various businesses including Retail, Real Estate, Private Equity, and Renewable Energy. She is responsible for developing and implementing the Group’s Sustainable Impact Strategy, in close collaboration with stakeholders throughout the group.
Before COFRA, Linda was the Senior Manager of Sustainability and SDG Lead for Europe at PwC. As part of the core management team for PwC’s 35 fte Sustainability and Responsible Governance (S&RG) group, Linda shared responsibility for strategy development and day-to-day management of key KPIs for financials, projects and people. She has supported clients across sectors with strategy development and execution, acting as a board-level advisor to among others an agricultural giant in the US, an industrial leader in Mexico and a financial institution in the Netherlands.
She has also been a key player in PwC’s internal transition towards sustainability. Linda developed an “Integrated Dashboard” for PwC NL’s Managing Board by designing a methodology and tool to include both financial and non-financial information in management’s decision-making, generating strong buy-in across the Managing Board.
Linda has worked in the United States, United Kingdom, Mexico, Haiti, Afghanistan, North and South Sudan, Kenya, Germany, the Netherlands, South Africa, Taiwan and Indonesia.
