Lauren Densham

Lauren was named a “notable leader in sustainability” by Crains Chicago in 2022 and has consulted leading asset owners, corporations and private equity clients on their ESG strategies for over a decade. She is currently Head of ESG and Impact at Energize Ventures.

Lauren brings more than a decade of experience in ESG strategy and sustainability leadership. She is responsible for leading Energize’s ESG and impact initiatives and supporting its portfolio with strategy development, execution and reporting. Prior to Energize, Lauren led ESG strategy initiatives for KPMG and key clients across the public, private and non-profit sectors. She has worked with leading asset owners, corporations and private equity clients on their approach to ESG and sustainable development – including helping one of the largest global asset managers develop its climate strategy. While at KPMG, she also served on the corporate strategy team in KPMG International, focusing on growth, sustainability and corporate citizenship.

Lauren holds a CFA Certificate in ESG investing, is a certified public accountant (CPA) and was named a “notable leader in sustainability” by Crains Chicago in 2022. Lauren completed her bachelor’s degree in business administration (BBA) at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
