Katharine Coombes

Katharine has a love for solving problems and nurturing individuals to reach their full potential. She’s currently the Senior Director, Talent Acquisition for APAC and China at LinkedIn. She joined LinkedIn almost a decade ago, helping drive the expansion into Asia, with a specific focus on sourcing talent for new locations including Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and China. Since then, she has led Talent Acquisition across a variety of geographies, including two years leading a global team, during a period of hyper growth. In her current role, Katherine leads Talent Acquisition for ANZ, SEA, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Japan, India and China, across all levels and functions. She believes that everyone has the right to live their dream and deserves the opportunity and support to make it happen!

Prior to LinkedIn, Katharine worked with General Electric as the Talent Partner to the VP of Corporate Communications advising on Talent Attraction, and at Hudson Global Resources where she led a successful Media Consulting Practise. Katherine has worked and lived in London, Sydney, Melbourne, Santa Barbara and Singapore.
