A qualified architect specialising in green buildings and smart city ecosystems, Joelle is currently the Head of Sustainability for Asia Pacific at LaSalle Investment Management.
She was previously the Head of Sustainability for Asia at Lendlease, where she led Lendlease to leverage technical capabilities, organisational best practices, and external partnerships to execute Lendlease’s sustainability strategy in Asia.
Before Lendlease, she was Programme Director at Beca Singapore, where she led their innovation agenda and creating new digital ventures for the Singapore business.
Before Beca, Joelle was the Partnerships & Marketing Director at MANN+HUMMEL Group, focusing on clean air solutions for buildings and cities that combine IOT technology, filtration expertise and a people-centered approach to health and well-being.
She was the first Asia Pacific Head for the World Green Building Council, the leading international NGO for the sustainable built environment, spearheading the adoption of global initiatives such as Advancing Net Zero (net zero carbon buildings) and Better Places for People (healthy buildings) in the region.
She also headed up the Smart Sustainable Cities team at the Singapore Economic Development Board, driving public-private partnerships through co-innovation platforms, such as “Living Labs”.
