James Shanahan

James is the former CEO of Revolut where he led the business growth in Singapore and expansion to wider Asian markets. Since leaving in 2022, he has held multiple leadership roles including CEO of the Financial Sector for Ajlan & Bros Holding and most recently CEO of Oxygn.

Prior to Revolut, he was Chief of Staff for Railsbank Technologies in SEA and COO for Singapore Life. He has more than 25 years experience with large banks, insurers and third parties, predominantly in Asia, including ANZ Bank, Avaloq, Standard Chartered Bank, AXA Insurance and Accenture. He has led new business launches, M&A, strategy, technology and operations in Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Australia.
