Jagdeep is the Business Head of Chase Auto’s Captive Finance Business. He has a track record of running multi-billion dollar businesses, driving material top and bottom-line growth, and has over a decade of experience doing so. In his current role, he oversees a multi-billion dollar business. Over the past four years, Jagdeep has solidified long-term contracts with the business partners, driving double-digit growth rates in each of his businesses. Prior to this role, Jagdeep led Chase’s Dealer Commercial Services business through fundamental and cultural change and repositioned it to become a growth business and one of the largest in the industry.
Before joining Chase, Jagdeep spent seven years as Business Head for Wells Fargo & Company's Commercial Real Estate Finance business. Prior to this role, he was Chief Credit Officer for Small Business Lending and Business Banking at Wells Fargo. Earlier, Jagdeep rose through the ranks at GE Capital having spent time in various businesses, before heading their strategy group for Small Business Lending.
Jagdeep currently serves on the Board of Union Settlement, a NY based Non-Profit, and is a member of its Finance and Audit Committee. He has served with the “Financial Services Volunteer Corps”, a non-profit based out of New York, on several executive volunteer missions to various countries. He worked with senior bankers and central bankers in those countries, to help increase and improve lending practices that could help lift their economies.
Jagdeep has over two decades of professional experience in the areas of Business and Risk Management. He has an extensive background in Consumer, Mid-Market, and Small Business Lending. He holds an MBA from Virginia Tech at Blacksburg, Virginia, as well as a BS in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and MS in Chemistry from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, India.
