As Head of Tech - Generative AI and Digital Native - AWS ASEAN, he has led initiatives to prepare AWS for newer technologies and changes in the industry landscape.

Girish has worked with many high scale start-ups in India and ASEAN who went on to become Super Apps, Decacorns and Unicorns over the last decade. He has worked with Founders, CTOs and Chief Product Officers, Engineering Directors, Chief Architects of many highly successful companies in this corner of the world.

Currently, Girish is leading AWS architects who work with Super Apps, Decacorns and Unicorns in the region, providing thought leadership and bring systematic Thinking Big / Expanding Vision to all the teams I mentor.

He has first hand experience of building systems with thousands of serves, that generate data at break-neck speed, bringing to life large scale, sophisticated AI and Big Data workloads.

Domain Experience: Crypto, Decentralised Tech, E-commerce, Hyperlocal (Food Delivery, Ride Sharing), Social Tech (Dating, Content creation, Live Commerce), Online Advertising, Supply Chain, Insurance (specialty / high risk).
