Ekaterina Makarova

Ekaterina is an acclaimed tennis champion – she has been ranked 1st in the world for doubles and 8th in the world for singles. Not only did she win a Gold medal at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, in the women's doubles alongside Elena Vesnina, she is also a four-time Grand Slam champion in doubles (Roland Garros 2013; US Open 2014; Wimbledon 2017; US Open — Mixed Doubles 2012); three-time WTA Tour winner in singles (2010 Aegon International, Eastbourne; Pattaya Open 2014; Washington D.C. 2017); and 15-time WTA Tour winner in doubles. Ekaterina has been a Semifinalist in the US Open 2014 and Australian Open 2015 in singles and won the 2008 Fed Cup. Her achievements have been awarded with titles such as Master of Sports of Russia, International Class, and the Medal of the Order of Friendship at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
