About

Doug leads KPMG's internal Change Management practice and a community of senior change management practitioners, utilizing the firm's practical methodology to orchestrate change, drive engagement, and increase adoption for its most critical transformational initiatives.

Prior to joining KPMG, Doug worked at Grant Thornton, where he played a key role in driving change management initiatives. Before that, he oversaw employee experience and knowledge management practices, managing knowledge sharing and product development for multiple core technology platforms. These included the firm’s digital workspace/intranet, personal dashboards, and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Yammer/Viva Engage. He also standardized client engagement delivery, optimizing how Advisory, Audit, and Tax teams conducted engagement start-up, collaboration, delivery, and closeout.

Doug specializes in driving employee experience transformation through change management programs that increase the probability of successful implementation for the firm’s most critical organizational, process, and technology-driven initiatives. He has expertise in organizational change management, management consulting, process redesign, business transformation, product management, digital workspaces, employee experience design, virtual collaboration, enterprise social collaboration, knowledge strategies, knowledge sharing, and knowledge management. He is also skilled in communities of practice, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Yammer, enterprise content management, search optimization, innovation, program management, and service offering development. Doug has completed the Prosci Change Management Practitioner Program.
