Full Bio Carolyn is a career marketer and storyteller, a (somewhat retired) athlete, and a mom of two. For the last 20 years, she has launched and marketed major brands, built bespoke global programs and workshops for big cities and emerging markets, directed award-winning insight-driven advertising campaigns, produced industry-altering consumer events, managed hundreds of marketing projects, and led dozens of marketing and communications teams across the globe.

As Director of SMB and Programs for North America Business marketing efforts, her team empowers small businesses through training, workshops, and inspiration while developing campaigns and programs to scale our priority messages to our largest clients.

Prior to this role, Carolyn spent 5+ years on the FB Creative Shop, where she enabled the industry with new ways to build advertising ideas in the rapidly changing media, mobile, and marketing world. Her team was focused on understanding how creativity is evolving by building ideas with our clients and partner agencies, establishing learnings from those ideas, and scaling them internally and externally. Her team trained thousands of sales partners, and millions of businesses to make more meaningful connections with their consumers each day.

In the six years, Carolyn has spent with Facebook, she has worked with dozens of brand marketers like Target, Netflix, Disney, Live Nation, TOMS shoes, and Honest Co, creative agencies like, and Seventh Generation to build stories across the family of apps, and organizations like Unicef, Girl Rising, Teen Cancer America, Cycle for Survival, and Save the Children.
