Brian Matt

Brian C. Matt, CFA, is the Head of ESG Advisory at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), where he manages the NYSE’s relationships with its listed companies regarding their progress on ESG initiatives. With over 20 years of experience in corporate investor relations, Brian specializes in helping companies craft and deliver their investment narratives.

Before joining the NYSE, Brian served as the Head of ESG for the Americas at IHS Markit’s Issuer Solutions group. In this role, he led the development of a product suite designed to help companies assess their ESG disclosures and engage with stakeholders. Prior to IHS Markit, Brian was the Global Head of Strategy & Innovation at Ipreo, where he spearheaded the development of various investor relations-focused products, including investor targeting, situational analytics, and corporate governance/shareholder engagement platforms.
