Bianca Burke

Bianca is currently the Senior Director of Global People Services at Oyster®, making it possible for companies everywhere to hire people anywhere.

Based in Portugal, Bianca is an international HR leader with more than 15 years of experience working across Australia, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Singapore. She started her career in Employee Relations before branching into generalist HR and has worked across a number of industries including security, retail, chemicals and now Fintech. She was previously the Head of People Ops, Asia Pacific, at TransferWise. Bianca is passionate about mission-based companies, challenging the status quo, using technology for good and hiring for potential.

Her diverse career experiences have seen Bianca conducting collective agreement negotiations with prison guards in a maximum security jail, working on an M&A at an outback salt lake, building HR Excellence in a Shared Service Centre in Malaysia and founding an HR tech start-up.
