Bhavik Vashi

Bhavik Vashi is the Managing Director for Asia Pacific at Carta, a leading software company on a mission to create more ownership in the world by building a central registry for private assets, empowering innovators with financial infrastructure, and unlocking liquidity for private markets.

In his role, Bhavik is responsible for driving Carta’s growth and operations across the Asia Pacific region, ensuring the business delivers strong financial performance, operational excellence, and a culture that inspires teams and delights customers.

Prior to joining Carta, Bhavik spent nearly a decade at Anaplan, where he played a pivotal role in scaling the company from its Series C stage to a successful IPO in 2018 and an eventual $10.4 billion acquisition by private equity in 2022. During his time at Anaplan, he held leadership roles across various regions and functions, contributing meaningfully to the company’s global expansion and strategic execution.

While Bhavik is passionate about big-picture thinking and driving innovation, he is also a self-proclaimed data and analytics enthusiast. He finds as much fulfillment in building sophisticated models as he does in closing deals or speaking at industry events.
