Ashish Chandra has had an exceptional career record of setting up new businesses, financial turnarounds, rapid market share growth, M&A and multiple industry innovations. As the current CEO & MD at Airtel Sri Lanka, he leads the acceleration of Airtel’s growth in the country by leveraging best-in-class network technologies and innovative digital platforms.

Previously, he was the former CEO & Business Head for Vodafone where he managed one of the largest market share business units and his work won the company the prestigious “Best Performing Business" award 2018-19.

Outside of work, Ashish is involved in various volunteer organisations, especially as a leadership coach where he has coached over 50 senior business leaders across various industries.
