Hiring Those With Intellectual Disabilities

Aug 11, 2021 | 19m

Disability, in general, is commonplace in DE&I conversations, but intellectual disability (those with an IQ below 70) is invariably missed out. In this podcast, Dipak Natali shares how those with intellectual disabilities can become valuable assets in the workplace and shouldn’t be left out of the hiring process. He is also joined by Dacki, an HR professional with Asperger's Syndrome, who is living proof of why employers should give individuals with intellectual disabilities a chance.

Gain Actionable Insights Into:

  • Getting over your discomfort of the “unknown” aspect of working with those with ID
  • Why this is not a CSR initiative, and can make genuine business sense
  • How you can help individuals with ID adapt to the workplace
