Nick Baber

With over 19 years of finance experience in banks such as Sumitomo Mitsui, National Australia Bank and Citi, Nick’s career has seen him live and work in New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong, New York, London, and Singapore. As former Managing Director of Macquarie Bank, Nick was in charge of structuring global multi-billion-dollar deals.

Nick spent over 11 years with Citi in various capacities. His last role at Citi saw him managing the multi-currency EMTN issuance business. As Director, his areas of specialisation included origination, pricing, credit risk management, loan & bond documentation and execution for global corporate issuers. Following this, he spent over two years as the Head of Debt Syndicate & Origination for Asia at the National Australia Bank. Nick then held the position of Senior Vice President at Sumitomo Mitsui before transitioning to his current position at Macquarie Bank.
