Joscelin Yeo started swimming professionally at the tender age of 11, and competed in her first Olympics, representing her home country Singapore, at 13. In this episode we discuss how she struggled with media attention throughout her formative years, how she was chased by photographers from pool to pool, and how she eventually found the tools to cope with both external and internal pressures. Understanding her limiting beliefs and getting a handle on her self doubt has been a big part of her growth story. Thank you so much, Joscelin, for opening up and being so honest with your remarkable story. *Content warning: this conversation includes mention of self-harm.
